La Bastide - Superb
From our first interaction, getting late arrival instructions, the staff were friendly and informative. Throughout our stay this continued. The room was excellent and all areas were spotlessly clean. We will definitely return.

Package had included a hire car
Package had included a hire car, company didn’t appear at airport to pick us up. Tried the hire company 3 times , no answer, another couple were also waiting tried and got the same result.In the end we had to get a taxi to our hotel and had no hire car for the 5 days it was booked.
When we got back contacted Secret Escapes who informed us it was our fault as we didn’t pick the car up! Tried to explain that obviously we didn’t pick the car up as we weren’t able to as they did not pick us up as promised ?
Secret Escapes now ignoring my emails and requests, seems like once they have your money that’s it.

Booked Milan hotel with no problem at…
Booked Milan hotel with no problem at all. Would book with SE again. Good breakfast was in as not worth the 24€ the hotel were asking.

Fantastic web site, easy to navigate for booking and true descriptions. Used them before as you get a fantastic deal with extras that the hotels don’t give you in the price. I fully recommend secret escapes for uk deals.

This is the best website for wonderful hotels! Each experience to date has been great and we're looking forward to our next break. The little extras like a cocktail on arrival and dinner credits are always most welcome. We have only booked UK stays to date but will be looking to go abroad with Secret Escapes next year! Exceeded our expectations
The hotel was well appointed and there was evidence of refurbishment with splendid new carpets on the corridors and in the bedrooms. The setting was very pleasant with extensive views over the surrounding countryside, and importantly, the hotel was easy to find. We found it excellent value.

Tanzania Reef & Beach and Selous safari. The hotels were very good (food, room, pools etc) for the cost. The safari was outstanding. Sylvester, our guide was an expert on animals and local conditions, he was supportive, patient and welcoming. The range and number of animals and birds seen in the National Park was superb. Generally booking was easy and information was accurate. Only big challenge - be upfront on the Zanzibar Travel Insurance (intro'd in 2024). This would have prevented a massive delay at the arrival airport. We did review the gov website but other travel firms were clear on the requirement so people could pre organise - you should do that too.

On Sunday I Booked a holiday to Bangkok in August. At no time did they explain that it was the monsoon season. Paid a large deposit. Realised with in hour tried phoning. I was told that that nothing could be done till Monday. Phoned Monday and was told that it was my fault for not checking. When I explained that I was going on the information that they supplied. And that nowhere in the brochure does it mention that this is the monsoon season. They said unlucky I should have done more research and that they will not refund my deposit of over £1800. What a rip-off company.

Very Good Leisure Break
We booked the hotel as a treat for our anniversary and a football trip to Blackburn. Large hotel with good quality facilities, the food was good as was the large swimming pool.
The grounds were fairly plain
